This Privacy Policy sets out how Apex Research FZ-LLC (“Apex Research”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores and protects information you provide when you use apexresearch.ae (the “Site”).

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We may collect the following:

  2. Contact details, including email address, telephone number and delivery address

  4. Identity and age verification information, including government-issued identification where required to confirm you are at least 18 years of age
  5. Researcher validation information submitted under our Research Use Only Policy, such as professional affiliation, research context or supporting documentation

We do not collect health information, medical history, symptoms, treatment information or any clinical data. We do not issue prescriptions and do not operate as a pharmacy, healthcare facility or medical provider. Products supplied by Apex Research are for laboratory and research use only and are not supplied for human or animal use.

Payment information. We do not collect or store full payment card details. Card payments are processed directly by our payment service providers, who handle that data under their own terms and security standards.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

  1. Process, fulfil and deliver your orders
  2. Verify your identity and age, and administer researcher validation
  3. Prepare shipping, customs and export documentation where required
  4. Communicate with you regarding orders, account matters and support requests
  5. Maintain internal records and improve our products, Site and services
  6. Send marketing communications where you have consented to receive them
  7. Detect, prevent and investigate fraud, misuse or activity inconsistent with our Research Use Only Policy
  8. Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, licensing and record-keeping obligations in the United Arab Emirates

3. AGE AND ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION

The Site is intended solely for persons aged 18 or over who are purchasing for legitimate research purposes. We use age verification and identity verification measures at checkout. Verification information is used only to confirm eligibility, to satisfy our record-keeping obligations, and to enforce our Research Use Only Policy. It is not used for any clinical, diagnostic or dispensing purpose.

We do not knowingly collect information from any person under 18. If we become aware that we have done so, we will delete it.

4. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

Where you have opted in, we may send you information about new products, offers and updates. You may withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting us at hello@apexresearch.ae.

Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect our ability to send you transactional messages relating to orders you have placed.

5. DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

We do not sell, rent or lease your personal information.

We share information only with:

  • Service providers who support our operations, including our e-commerce platform, payment processors, email service provider, courier and logistics partners, and customs clearance agents - in each case limited to what is necessary to perform their function

6. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Certain of our service providers process data on servers located outside the United Arab Emirates. Where personal information is transferred outside the UAE, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains subject to appropriate safeguards and is handled consistently with this Policy and applicable UAE data protection law.

7. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this Policy, including to meet UAE commercial, tax, customs and licensing record-keeping requirements. Where information is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymised.

Please note that certain information - including identity and age verification records and order records - is collected in order to meet legal and regulatory requirements. This information cannot be omitted when placing an order and may be retained for the periods required by applicable law.

8. SECURITY

We are committed to keeping your information secure. We maintain appropriate physical, electronic and managerial safeguards designed to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss. Access to verification and order records is restricted to authorised personnel.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
