Where CJC-1295 supplies the GHRH 'go' signal, Ipamorelin amplifies the resulting pulse through the ghrelin-receptor pathway. The two activate different receptors that converge on GH release.

Ipamorelin's selectivity is its defining research trait - earlier GHS compounds raised cortisol and prolactin, which Ipamorelin largely avoids in study settings.
